4D software applications such as Synchro provide several output options that can be used by planners to communicate the construction process to others. However, in many cases companies do not feel confident enough to run live 4D sessions during bid tender or marketing presentations. Our visualisation service can provide these resources.
TYPES
OF OUTPUT
Our AVI's are created at 30 frames per second and this results in file
sizes of 100MB+ depending on quality and duration. Due to the large file
sizes it's often impractical to include these into bid tender presentations
where they and other resources need to be incorporated into a single Power
Point. We therefore deliver an accompanying animated gif file that shows
the same content, but with less frames and a file size of around 1MB.
4D AVI STORY BOARDS FOR BID TENDER
We specialise in creating tailor made imagery for bid presentations. Many
studios tend to create a two minute AVI of the entire construction sequence,
but whilst being informative these do not provide enough value during
a presentation that may be 2 hours or more. Our policy, wherever possible,
is to break down the 4D sequence into a series of storyboards e.g.:

2) Access Routes
3) Enabling Works
4) Off-Site Fabrication
5) Sub Structure
6) Super Structure

VISUALISATION SNAPSHOTS
The 4D model can be used to create images that show the status of the
construction at certain key milestone dates. Once a viewpoint is agreed
upon with the client we post process the data in 3D Max to create a high
quality image.
