4D Synchro Service

We support Synchro owners by creating the raw material required for 4D; the 3D models. Our 4D Ready Service is aimed at construction companies using Synchro software for 4D Virtual Construction and who require additional resources to handle overflow work.

We provide a fast turn-around for our clients who can be sure that as experts in 4D we understand the process and what must be achieved. Where necessary we can advise you on the best way to set up the model so the desired results are right first time. We provide service to all levels of 4D, whether it be a bid-tender level one model or a full zonal and logistics Level 2 or 3. Depending on the brief we can include MEP services as either fully modelled or design spaces that can be programmed as activities. We provide a two tiered service to support this;

(i) SYNCHRO READY SERVICE - MODELLING ONLY

(ii) FULL SYNCHRO SERVICE - PREPARED 4D MODELS

Synchro Ready

This service includes converting the 2D project drawings into 3D surface models and outputting them to DWF format that is used by Synchro. This process includes breaking up the model in accordance with the program and instructions (e.g. slabs into pours) so that planners can use Synchro to create zonal models. The 3D models are delivered in your CAD format of choice and in DWF format and ready for planners to start using Synchro right away. The client does the linking in-house, and should the design or circumstances change we are always on hand to make any modifications to the model that might be required. Our standard deliverables include:

1) A 3D CAD model in your choice of format
2) The 3D models in DWF format - required by Synchro
3) An IFC file so that the model may be used for BIM analysis
4) An IFC viewing file in Solibri for review & collaboration
5) An NWD file so the model may be reviewed in NavisWorks

Full Synchro Service

Our full Synchro service is aimed at companies who own Synchro, but for reasons of speed or limited resources require a 4D model to be made in accordance with their instructions and delivered ready to go. In this instance we create the 3D models with reference to the program and make the links in Synchro. We then fully check that the model is as best it can be given the information supplied and deliver the 4D model to the client’s planners who can then take the model to the next stage using their own copy of Synchro. Our deliverables include:

1) A 3D CAD model in your choice of format
2) The 3D models in DWF format - required by Synchro
3) A 4D Synchro file
4) An IFC file so the model may be used for BIM analysis
5) An IFC viewing file in Solibri for review & analysis
6) A NWD file so the model may be reviewed in NavisWorks

Our prices for creating Synchro models are the most competitive around and our comprehensive delivery policy will maximise the value you can obtain from the 4D process.
